Obesity is a serious chronic disease that affects the primary systems in your body severely. People who are obese or overweight have a greater risk of developing severe conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes, Heart Disease, and Bone Disease. In the case of Obesity extra fat tissue gets accumulated in the body. This Extra fat tissue needs more nutrients and oxygen to live, Which cause the blood vessels to pump more blood to the fat tissue. This Increase in the requirement of blood causes the heart to pump more blood through blood vessels, causing more pressure on the blood vessels. This leads to increase in blood pressure.

Heart disease

In obese people, cases of hardened arteries are 10 times more than in the ordinary people. Coronary heart disease is also common in obese people. This is because of the the fat deposits in the arteries hinder the optimal flow of blood supply to the heart. This Blockage of the blood flow can cause a chest pain or Heart attack and even in worse condition it can lead to stroke.

Diabetes

One of the Major cause of diabetes is obesity. Obesity can cause resistance to insulin hormone. This hormone helps in regulating the blood levels in our blood. When obesity restricts the insulin production, the blood sugar level increases causing diabetes. Even a moderate level of obesity can increase the risk of Diabetes.

Sleep apnea plus respiratory issues

Sleep apnea causes someone to stop breathing for a small period. This can lead to sleeplessness as it interrupts sleep at night. Obesity also causes respiratory problems because of the increased weight of the chest wall that squeezes down the lungs. Sleep apnea is also related to high Blood pressure.

Metabolic syndrome mainly consists of five types: obesity, elevated blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels, Increase in some clotting factors and insulin resistance.
